I run my business from my home in
Kansas City, Mo. and I have 3 awesome boys: Jacob (10),
Elijah (5), and Isaac (3)
Here we are for recent family pictures:

A little background on
myself:
I'm originally from the Bay Area of
California.
I moved to KC with my parents when I was
12 years old.
Prior to my venture into real estate, I
spent 10 years in the U.S. Navy.
After graduating with an honors degree
in Finance from Avila College, I went to work in NYC as an
investment banker at UBS Warburg.
This was May, 2001.
In all, I ended up losing 12 friends to
the World Trade Center tragedy and eventually moved back to
KC in March, 2003.
I started my home inspection business in
May, 2003, but it was tough going in the beginning.
I felt like I spent my first 2 years
looking for a black cat in a dark room.
I had to get a couple of jobs through
the years while I found my own way and figured out what I
should really be doing for a living.
But I always came back to my home
inspection business. It was always the one I thing I
really enjoyed and was really good at.
My attention to detail I brought from my
time in the Navy and my technical side from college, made
for a particularly good fit. I just had a hard time
finding new business.
So in June, 2007, I had just gotten a
job as a salesperson for a local e-commerce company when 20
of us were called into a meeting and promptly told that
effective immediately, we were all out of a job.
And also away went my insurance
benefits.
This was also just 6 weeks after
starting.
That's when I realized I would never
work for anyone else again - it just wasn't worth it.
So at that point, I began burying myself
in offline and online marketing, got myself a business
development coach, and never looked back.
And now fast forward one year.
2008 was a banner year for us with a
279% growth in revenues (that's not a misprint).
And we'll be doing the same things
throughout 2009 to continue the momentum and a few other
things to build massive growth in other areas of our lives.
I know that I now finally understand the
home inspection industry like the back of my hand and how to
perform an excellent home inspection that absolutely thrills
my clients and also build a relationship that keeps them
coming back for their next home inspection.
God is good and continues to bless us
and everyone we come in contact with.
God Bless!
